I watched Larry’s interview on PBS this 4/23/22 a.m. and am surprised to learn I share similar values and opinions he quoted about the population flight from NY. And am back from Florida after living there since Day before Hurricane Andrew hit escaping from corrupt family members meddling and destroying my 25 year marital courtship over money during the pandemic and a temporary nefarious ALF life for 10 months.
It is not the same as when I arrived! I am deaf, 75 years old, graduate of Rochester Insitute of Technology and previously employed by BC/BS and Xerox Corp as a senior info systems analyst/database designer until put out to pasture from black ice injuries and improperly investigated domestic issues with an incorrigible Generation X teenage son who is still troubled and jailed today!
My wife I lost to her Florida son, using corrupted obtain FL POAs and wealth to corrupt northern NY Social Services APS and a Independent Living Center supposed to be protecting me and my wife’s NY resettlement efforts, reneged helping us in favor of her realty business inherited corrupted and wealthy son. 25 years of marriage down the drain, no contact or knowledge of her whereabouts and it’s been 6 months now since she was taken away. She is severely deaf and blind. The north country is corruptly Republican controlled and discriminates against elderly deaf and deaf-blind returnees trying to resettle and my wife was born at Queens, NY, The State Health Dept obfuscated giving her a new certified birth certificate hampering her identification, Medicare change, and proper community resources. and independent. independent. She’s a Democrat and I am a Libertarian Moderated Centrist.
Good luck with your campaign. I am too poor to donate much but will and need supporting information to vote for you and Libertarians with our real life living exposure solutions. And not nutty radicals like Rand Paul and those corrupted Federalists.

These three actions will make the Safe Act essentially obsolete:

1) The risk of turning good people into hardened criminals just because of a Safe Act violation is a serious problem.
2) Law enforcement officers and prosecutors will make enforcement and prosecution of the safe act its absolute lowest priority.
3) Any attempts to fund or support the Safe act through further legislative measures will be vetoed.

I am all about gun rights for law abiding citizens,I feel a law abiding citizen should be free to be armed with with any light weapon ( handguns,rifles,shotguns,) available to police ,indeed it should be the required duty of every healthy,law abiding citizen to maintain and be proficient with the present ,modern military weapon in use by the nations Armed forces ,so as to be a stand by reserve militia force in times of national need and to serve as a warning to all enemy’s within and without of our country’s borders that we intend to be free and strong and stay that way Competitions and proficiency exams ,would ensure capable safe handling and training by all citizens ,and would foster closer comeradery between citizens and law enforcement personnel,and our service branches also.Uniformed military and police no longer appear as those in charge of the people(jack booted thugs) and the people no more appearing as untrained ,incapable obstacles to law enforcement or community security,indeed the bad guys from without would be met by a wall of well trained security,the ones within would be surrounded at all times by watchful warriors ready to protect any threatened persons..even those opposed to weapons use could be found a support job .in short we would work as a whole cohesive unit,even Democrats would have to do thier share!

I want one in case my house gets broken into in the middle of the night. And if I shoot the intruder(s) I will still be able to see in the dark (No muzzle flash.) and hear where they are in the house afterwards. (Gun quieter and you don’t have time to put on hearing protection and if you do, way harder to hear where they are.)
